I regularly teach food classes for up to 80 participants
at Napa's, world-class programs and exhibitions space. Classes
have included short, lecture-style presentations and longer, multi-dish
demonstrations, including Copia's signature series, A Taste of Copia
Lunch. Subjects have included chocolate, tomatoes, strawberries,
breads, and cakes, Asian vegetables, grilling, ice cream and sorbets,
cooking with kids, chiles, and cheese.
I also work with Visitor's Activities to conceive of, plan, and produce food programs - from 10-minute presentations to weekend-long events - and assist guest chefs who visit
Copia.

For two years in a row, I've been a popular
presenter at this all-day event for women in Solano County, doing
standing-room only cooking demonstrations with an eye towards
health. In 2006, my topic was Tantalize Your Taste Buds: Cooking
Cuisine That's Lean. And in 2007, it was Cheese Please: Healthy Ways
To Enjoy Cheese.

As one of their most senior and successful volunteers, I led seminars to introduce people to Landmark Education's courses. I also led the course that trained volunteers to lead those seminars - a rigorous, seven-month program with over 80 participants.

In 1993, I taught a course at The Learning Annex about how to open and run a successful cafe.
And back when I worked in advertising, I taught several semesters at both Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and the School of Visual Arts in New York. These are undoubtedly the country's two most prestigious art and design colleges, and them inviting me to instruct was a testament to both my advertising and my teaching expertise.
